A conversation about condolences of friend mother's death

Waqas: Ali we are grieved to learn of your mother's death.
Zahid: She was an angel of a mother.
W: But now take heart. We share your grief.
Let's pray that her soul may rest in eternal peace.
Z: Karim, you feel at times that God is cruel and even unjust.
But if you think calmly you will see a bright light shining out of darkness.
W: Yes every cloud has a silver lining.
Z: When winter comes can spring be far behind?
W: Suffering is like fire. Fire doesn't burn gold.
 It only purifies gold.
Adversity refines your character as fire refines gold.
Z: You can't have a heavy rain if a cloud isn't thick and dark.
W: The darker the cloud, the heaver the rain.
